Duscripto is an online caption generator for videos, podcasts and gaming clips. Upload a video or MP3 and get animated word-by-word captions in about a minute. It detects who is speaking and gives every speaker their own caption color and position, then exports an MP4 with burned-in captions or SRT/VTT subtitle files.
Duscripto makes subtitles for your videos automatically. AI transcribes every word, recognizes who is speaking and turns it into animated captions you can style your way. Download an MP4 with the subtitles burned in, or SRT/VTT subtitle files.
Upload your video, turn on “Speakers” in the style panel and Duscripto detects up to two speakers automatically. Each speaker gets their own color, name and caption position, and you can change the speaker of any line in the editor.
In our tests on two-person conversations, Duscripto picked the right speaker for 99% of words when a man and a woman talk, and for about 90–93% when two men or two women talk. Transcription is most accurate with clear speech – loud music, game sounds or people talking over each other can cause mistakes. You can fix any word or speaker in the editor with one click.
Yes. The free plan gives you 10 credits a month (1 credit = 1 minute of video) for videos up to 3 minutes; free exports carry a small watermark. Pro (€9 a month) gives 300 credits, videos up to 3 hours, speaker detection, no watermark and keeps your files for 7 days. Ultra (€15 a month) doubles that to 600 credits.
Every paid month gives you XP – 500 on Pro, 1,000 on Ultra. Level 1 starts at 500 XP and level 6 at 6,000 XP, and every level adds 5 extra credits to your plan each month, up to 30. If your subscription ends, your level starts again from 0.
One credit is one minute of video or audio. A 30-second clip uses half a credit, a 1-hour podcast uses 60. Credits reset every month, and inviting friends gives you bonus credits that never expire.
Most short videos are captioned in about a minute. You can already choose a caption style while the captions are being written.
Transcription works in around 100 languages and detects the language automatically. English gives the best results.
Uploaded and exported files are deleted automatically after 24 hours on the free plan and after 7 days on Pro. Files are processed on our own servers in the EU and are never used to train AI models.
Yes. Besides an MP4 with burned-in captions you can download SRT and VTT subtitle files, which work in YouTube, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and CapCut.
Yes. When you upload, pick your game and the transcription expects that game’s words - item names, champions, weapons and callouts - so they are spelled correctly.
